Yes. You don't need experience, flexibility, or a high fitness level to start. Classes are taught for complete beginners, and two days a week is a completely legitimate starting pace — fitness and flexibility develop as a result of training, not as a prerequisite.
For a trial class: athletic shirt and shorts or leggings (no zippers, no jewelry), a water bottle, and flip-flops for walking off the mat. Once you join, you'll need a Gi for Gi classes or a rash guard and fight shorts/spats for No-Gi.
Adult BJJ classes are open to teens and adults. Kids ages 3–12 train in our dedicated Kids BJJ program.
Pricing isn't one-size-fits-all — start with the free 7-day trial pass and a coach will walk you through current membership options.
Gi and No-Gi classes run Monday through Saturday — see the schedule page or call (410) 695-3400 for current times.
