Damascus sits at the top of Montgomery County, with farms and parkland all around. Good martial arts training can be hard to find this far upcounty, so many families look toward Gaithersburg. The good news: our academy is in the same county, Montgomery County, Maryland, and the drive is simple.
Culture of Jiu Jitsu Academy is about 25 minutes away. The route is simple: Woodfield Road, then Goshen Road, and you're here. Our head coach, Max Gimenis, is an IBJJF World Champion and UFC fighter. He runs the academy with co-owner Eric Philcox, a black belt under Max.
You can start at any fitness level. We have classes for kids ages 3-12, adults and women, and every new student gets a free 7-day trial.
